Mescola is Italian for "mix, mingle, combine.." which I did here with this painting, with many layers of paint, paint skins and some charcoal.  Mescola II was recently featured in a juried Southeast regional exhibition called "All The Fixin's, Artists from the South" at the Reeves House Visual Center in Woodstock, GA.
